Cancellations & Refunds
At CarLiftDirect, we take pride in offering one of the most customer-friendly return policies in the industry. You may cancel your order at any time before it ships at no cost (exceptions apply for custom orders; see below).

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)
If you need to cancel your order, contact us immediately so we can issue a full refund before it leaves the warehouse.

Cancellations of Custom Orders
Custom-made or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded, as they are built specifically for your order.
These items are manufactured to your specifications and production begins once your order is placed. Your warranty guarantees you a fully functional product. If you are unsure whether your order is considered custom or made-to-order, please contact us.
All sales of custom-made or made-to-order products are final.
Refunds and Returns
You may exchange your product if needed. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs involved in returns or exchanges.
Not all products are eligible for return after shipping. Since we order directly from the manufacturer, returns are only possible if the manufacturer allows them. Policies vary by brand—please contact us for specific details.
Due to rising LTL/freight shipping costs, any standard return (not involving an exchange) will incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping charges. If you are exchanging the product, we may be able to help offset some costs depending on the product.
Customers have 30 days from the delivery date to initiate a return, unless the specific product page lists a different brand-specific policy, which will take precedence over this general policy.
Shipping Times
We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Estimated shipping times are listed on product pages based on supplier and freight carrier information, and may change without notice due to factors such as supply chain delays, material shortages, manufacturing backlogs, or shipping capacity limits.
While delays can be frustrating, they are sometimes unavoidable and beyond CarLiftDirect’s control. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

By placing an order with CarLiftDirect, you acknowledge the following:

I will inspect my order upon delivery and report any damage with photos to CarLiftDirect within 24 hours.

I am responsible for the cost of return shipping and the cost of shipping a replacement item in case of a refund or exchange.

Products must be returned unused and in their original packaging. Additional restocking fees may apply.

If my order has shipped, I am not eligible for a full refund.

If I return my order after it ships, I will pay return shipping and restocking fees (typically around 20%).

Shipping dates listed on product pages are estimates and may change due to factors outside of CarLiftDirect’s control.

I will not cancel or dispute my payment due to delays caused by circumstances outside CarLiftDirect’s control (such as manufacturer or freight issues).
Damages
Inspect all packages upon arrival. If there is visible damage, note it when signing for delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, email support@carliftdirect.com within 24 hours with photos of the damage, packaging, and SKU, plus a brief description. This is required for us to file an insurance claim on your behalf.
Any visible exterior damage or punctures must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Warranty
Warranty terms vary by manufacturer—see individual product pages for details.
Warranty claims apply to issues that arise from normal use over time, not damage that occurred during shipping. Damage on arrival must be reported within 30 days to qualify for coverage.
Returns
Unless otherwise noted on the product page, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any reconsignment fees due to customer error.
Most products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring you receive a fully functional product without additional cost—see the product page for details.
BOGO Promotions
For “Buy One, Get One” promotions, both items must be returned for a full refund. If only one item is returned, you may receive a replacement for that item or store credit equal to its individual price.
If your order has shipped, you are responsible for return shipping and any applicable restocking fees. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method.
Chargebacks
Our team is committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly. We have designed our policies to be as reasonable as possible and will work with you to find the best solution.
Filing a fraudulent chargeback is considered theft and may result in legal action. If you have a problem with your order, please contact us before initiating a dispute so we can resolve it together.
