4-Post Lifts with Jacks
A 4-post lift holds the vehicle on its tires, which is perfect for storage, oil changes and exhaust work. To take the wheels off for brakes, tires or suspension, you need a jack that rides on the runways and lifts the vehicle by its frame or lift points. A 4 post lift with jacks package bundles the lift and the right jack together, so you know they fit and you only place one order. Car Lift Direct carries 4-post lift packages from Atlas, AMGO, Triumph and Katool.
How to Choose a 4-Post Lift Package
- Sliding jacks vs. rolling bridge jacks: Sliding jacks like the Atlas RJ35 are a lighter, lower-cost option that pairs well with home storage lifts. Rolling bridge jacks like the Atlas RJ6, RJ8, RJ45A and RJ7000 and the Triumph RJ-9000 and RJ-15000 roll along the runways and are built for heavier vehicles and daily shop use.
- Lift capacity: 8,000–9,000 lb packages like the Atlas PRO8000, PRO9000, Apex 8 and Apex 9 suit home garages and light service. 12,000–14,000 lb packages like the Atlas 412, 414 and Platinum PVL14 and the AMGO PRO-12SX + J6A suit shops and heavier trucks. The Triumph NTR-16, NTR-24 and NTR-32 packages handle 16,000–32,000 lb.
- Jack capacity: Each jack only lifts one end of the vehicle, so it's rated lower than the lift. Check the jack rating on the product page against the heaviest axle you'll raise.
- Alignment packages: The Atlas 412A and 414A packages, the PVL14 + RJ7000 & Alignment Kit, and Katool alignment lifts with a rolling jack included are set up for wheel alignment work.
- Casters: Many Atlas storage-lift packages include a caster kit, so the lift can be moved. See all portable 4-post lifts.

Do I need a bridge jack with a 4-post lift?
Only if you plan to work on wheels, brakes, tires or suspension. For storage, oil changes and exhaust work, the lift alone is enough. A bridge jack or rolling jack lifts the vehicle off the runways so the wheels hang free.
What's the difference between a sliding jack and a rolling jack?
Both ride on the 4-post lift's runways and lift the vehicle by its frame or lift points. Sliding jacks are lighter and simpler, and they're common on home storage lifts. Rolling bridge jacks roll on wheels or tracks, usually carry higher capacities and are better suited to frequent shop use.
Is it cheaper to buy a 4-post lift package?
A package makes sure the jack fits your lift's runways and ships with it. Compare the package price with the lift and jack bought separately on each product page to see the difference for that model.
Can I add a jack to my existing 4-post lift?
Yes. Shop our bridge jacks and rolling jacks and match the jack to your lift's brand, runway width and capacity. Many jacks are designed for a specific lift series, so check compatibility on the product page.
