The Atlas® 7K Kwik Bay is a 7,000 lb. capacity open-center portable mid-rise scissor lift designed for commercial quick-service bays, tire and brake shops, and professional wheel service technicians who need extra lifting height and fast setup.
This free-standing portable lift provides a stable, heavy-duty lifting solution that quickly raises vehicles to a comfortable working height without the need to position swing arms under the lifting points. Simply drive the vehicle onto the ramps, place the heavy-duty rubber block assemblies under the manufacturer’s lifting points, and elevate the vehicle using the convenient control unit. This efficient design saves time and minimizes the risk of contact or damage to the vehicle’s underbody.
The Atlas® 7K Kwik Bay offers a maximum lifting height of over 39 inches and remains rock solid at every safety lock position. Its wide footprint ensures exceptional platform stability, even under heavy loads.
The open-center platform design provides superior access to the vehicle’s underside—ideal for bodywork, brake jobs, and general maintenance tasks. Each approach ramp locks horizontally, extending the platform by an additional 10 inches on both ends, increasing the total effective lifting surface from 57 inches to 78 inches.
Dual hydraulic cylinders and solid mechanical safety lock bars deliver secure, balanced lifting performance and make the 7K Kwik Bay one of the most versatile and user-friendly mid-rise lifts available in North America.
As with all open-style scissor lifts, operators should position the vehicle’s frame at least 6 inches from the inside edges of the platforms to ensure proper balance. Placing too much weight near the edges may cause the platforms to angle inward (“pigeon toe”) and potentially result in damage.
For lifting narrow-frame vehicles or heavy trucks, Atlas® recommends using the optional Scissor Lift Support Bar Kit, which distributes weight evenly across the lifting surface. Additionally, due to the horizontal cylinder configuration, maintaining a 2–6 inch gap between the lift surface and the vehicle’s lifting points ensures proper operation and safety.
