The Atlas® TC229LH rim-clamp swing arm tire changer is an excellent choice for homeowners, small commercial garages, and ATV or motorcycle dealers. This model comes equipped with the Atlas® Left Hand Assist (LHA) arm, designed to make tire changes easier and safer. The LHA arm provides additional support for handling stiff sidewall and low-profile tires—acting like an extra set of hands to save both time and effort.
The TC229LH also includes a built-in Beadblaster system, which delivers a high-volume burst of air to help seat tough, hard-to-inflate tires. For those who expect to service larger pickup, SUV, or agricultural tires, upgrading to the Atlas® TC289 may be the better long-term option.
Engineered for precision and durability, the Atlas® wheel clamp tire changers are ideal for use on both steel and high-end alloy wheels. The powerful side-mounted bead breaker quickly loosens even rusted or stubborn beads without damaging the rim. Adjustable turntable jaws—complete with optional plastic covers—securely grip the wheel and can be repositioned in three settings to accommodate a wide range of tire sizes.
