The Atlas® TC289 Rim Clamp Swing Arm Tire Changer is an ideal choice for general automotive repair shops, medium-sized tire stores, and even homeowners who need to service larger tires. With its oversized turntable and generous working clearance, the TC289 is designed to handle large-diameter tires found on heavy-duty trucks, SUVs, and farm equipment with ease.
This model includes a built-in “Beadblaster” system that quickly seats even the most stubborn, stiff-sidewall tires that are otherwise difficult to inflate.
Engineered for durability and precision, the Atlas® wheel clamp tire changers can safely change both high-end alloy and standard steel wheels without damaging the rim or tire. The TC289 features a powerful adjustable bead breaker mounted on the side of the unit, capable of loosening rusted or tight beads with ease. Its turntable jaws—fitted with optional plastic covers—securely hold rims in place without marring the surface. The jaws can be adjusted to three different positions, providing flexibility to accommodate a wide range of tire sizes.
