The Atlas® TC289DAA rim-clamp swing arm tire changer is the ideal solution for general automotive service departments, mid-sized tire shops, and farm equipment maintenance. This model comes equipped with the Atlas® DAA-SA dual assist arm package — featuring a left-hand assist arm with a pressing block and lifting disk, and a right-hand assist arm with a bead roller and lifting disk. These dual assist arms are essential for efficiently handling stiff sidewall, low-profile, and run-flat tires, acting like an extra set of hands to help a single operator work faster and with less effort.
Engineered with a large turntable and generous clearance, the TC289DAA can easily manage oversized wheels and tires, making it an excellent choice for servicing large SUVs, one-ton trucks, and similar vehicles. The integrated Beadblaster system provides a powerful air burst to seat even the most stubborn sidewalls or hard-to-inflate tires.
Like all Atlas® wheel clamp tire changers, the TC289DAA is built to handle both high-end alloy and durable steel wheels safely — ensuring that neither the rim nor the tire is damaged during service. The adjustable side-mounted bead breaker delivers exceptional power to free even corroded or rusted beads, while the turntable’s three-position adjustable jaws offer flexibility for different wheel sizes. Optional plastic jaw covers protect delicate rims during operation.
