The Atlas® TC289LH Rim Clamp Swing Arm Tire Changer is an excellent solution for general automotive service departments, medium-sized tire shops, and even homeowners or farmers working with larger tires. This version of the TC289 includes the Atlas® LHA (Left Hand Assist) Arm, a valuable feature designed to simplify the process of changing stiff sidewall and low-profile tires. The assist arm acts as an extra set of hands, allowing a single operator to work more efficiently and with less physical strain.
Built for versatility and strength, the TC289LH offers an extra-large turntable and maximum clearance, making it ideal for servicing large-diameter tires found on heavy-duty trucks, SUVs, and agricultural equipment. The integrated “Beadblaster” inflation system assists in seating even the toughest sidewalls and “hard-to-inflate” tires with ease.
Like all Atlas® wheel clamp tire changers, the TC289LH is engineered to service both premium alloy and standard steel wheels safely and precisely. Its adjustable side-mounted bead breaker delivers powerful performance, capable of freeing even rusted or stubborn beads without damaging the rim. The turntable jaws, which can be fitted with protective plastic covers, securely grip the rim without scratching or marking the surface. These jaws can be set in three adjustable positions, expanding or reducing the clamping range to accommodate a wide variety of tire sizes.
