Description
The Atlas® WB49-2 represents the next evolution in Atlas® wheel balancing technology. This premium model combines advanced functionality with modern design, offering Automatic 2D Data Entry — where both offset and diameter are automatically entered using the internal measuring gauge. The WB49-2 features a sleek LED display, a redesigned chassis for improved usability and appearance, and an enlarged wheel weight tray for greater convenience.
Luxury enhancements include a Split-Weight Function that allows discreet placement of weights behind wheel spokes, and an automatic LED rim light that illuminates the interior for precise weight application. Like the WB41, this model also features a raised, ergonomic display for easier operation.
The WB49-2 is engineered for simplicity and durability — capable of self-diagnosing errors and displaying troubleshooting codes, so operators can handle minor adjustments without waiting for costly technicians. Supporting wheels up to 32 inches in diameter and 150 lbs in weight, this balancer ensures both stability and accuracy. It includes four centering cones for hub holes ranging from 1.75" to 5.18", with an optional Light Truck Adapter Kit available for larger or offset wheels.
Unlike competitors that merely support 150 lbs on the shaft, the WB49-2 accurately balances heavy assemblies with precision and consistency, making it an ideal choice for professional automotive and tire shops.
