Low-Rise Car Scissor Lifts

A low rise scissor car lift lifts a vehicle roughly 2 feet off the floor. That's the right height for tire changes, brake jobs, detailing and body work, and low-rise lifts set up fast, take up very little space and fit under almost any ceiling. Many are portable and run on a standard 110V outlet.

How to Choose a Low-Rise Scissor Lift

  • Portable or fixed: The AMGO LR06, AMGO LR10 and Atlas LR06 roll around the shop. The Atlas 6PL and Tuxedo PL6K are surface-mounted.
  • Open center: The Atlas 6PL leaves the middle of the car clear for undercarriage access.
  • Pit lifts: The Tuxedo PL6K is built for quick-lube pit bays.
  • Low drive-over height: The Tuxedo LR-26-PAD has a 3" drive-over height and padded runways.
  • Capacity: Most low-rise lifts are rated 6,000–6,600 lb. The AMGO LR10 handles 10,000 lb.
