4-Post Alignment Racks
A 4 post alignment lift is a drive-on 4-post lift with front turnplate pockets or turntables and rear slip plates, so the wheels can turn and settle while you set camber, caster and toe. Because the runways stay level and locked at any height, a 4-post alignment rack is also a great general-service lift for oil changes, exhaust work and inspections, and a rolling jack lifts the wheels free for brake and suspension work.
How to Choose a 4-Post Alignment Lift
- Capacity: 11,000–12,000 lb racks like the Atlas 412A, AMGO PRO-12A and Katool KT-4H120X handle cars, SUVs and light trucks. 14,000–15,000 lb racks like the Atlas 414A, AMGO PRO-14A, Daytona LFPA14 and Katool KT-4H150 add room for heavier trucks. The AMGO PRO-18A and Daytona LFPA24 are built for the heaviest vehicles.
- Wheelbase: Long-wheelbase trucks and vans need longer runways. Check the maximum wheelbase on each product page; for example, the Atlas Platinum PVL14OF-EXT handles up to 203" and the Atlas 414A up to 197".
- ALI certification: The Atlas Platinum PVL14OF-EXT and the PVL14 alignment package are ALI certified. See all ALI certified lifts.
- Rolling jacks: Packages like the Atlas 412A + RJ6, 414A + RJ8 and the Katool KT-4M110PA, KT-4H120X and KT-4H150 include a rolling jack. You can also add one from our bridge jacks and rolling jacks.
- Budget: Katool and AMGO alignment racks start at about $4,000 and $5,100, while Atlas, Daytona and iDEAL commercial racks start at about $9,400.

4-Post Alignment Lift FAQs

4-post alignment lifts on our site currently range from about $4,000 to $19,900. Katool racks run about $4,000–$5,700, AMGO racks about $5,100–$10,800, Atlas, iDEAL and most Daytona racks about $9,400–$15,800, and the 24,000 lb Daytona LFPA24 about $19,900. What makes a 4-post lift an alignment lift?
An alignment lift has turnplates or turntable pockets at the front and slip plates at the rear, and the runways are built to stay level at every lock position so alignment readings are accurate. Some models include the turntables and others have pockets for turntables you add.
Can I use a 4-post alignment lift for regular service?
Yes. A 4-post alignment rack works as a general-service lift for oil changes, inspections and exhaust work. Add a rolling jack to lift the wheels free for brakes, tires and suspension.
4-post alignment lift or scissor alignment lift?
A 4-post alignment rack usually costs less and is easy to install on a standard slab. A scissor alignment lift leaves the bay open with no posts and takes less floor space, but costs more.
